The Abbey at West Haven is a highly prestigious & up-market development. The plots are far larger than most in Central Florida and ours is the largest of them all.
Our rental villa on The Abbey is set in a favoured, elevated position on a no-through road in this gated community over-looking a wooded conservation area and wetland. It is minutes from Greg Norman and David Leadbetter's new Champions Gate Golf Resort and is less than 15 minutes from Disney World. Also within easy reach are shopping malls, restaurants and local activities including boating, tennis and more golf!
And
if that's not enough, the beach is a gentle hours drive both east and west : Tampa and all the delights of the Gulf Coast such as St Petersburg and Clearwater is to the west, and to the east you will find Cape Canaveral, Kennedy Space Center, and the beaches of the Atlantic Coast such as Daytona and Cocoa Beach!
We heartily recommend the use of Google Earth to prepare for your trip. Not only does it allow you to get a real feel for the directions to and from your rental villa and the parks, but also you can investigate each community very throughly. Google Earth can be downloaded here and then you can see exactly how close you are to the villa next door! (Sad to say that most developers in Florida pack houses together like sardines in a can - we are delighted to say that this is not the case at The Abbey!).
